The Australian Minister for Industry, Science and Technology, Karen Andrews MP, recently announced the award of Accelerating
Commercialisation grants under the Entrepreneurs’ Programme to 16 Australian businesses. The Entrepreneurs’ Programme is the Australian Government’s initiative to improve business competitiveness and productivity
Blueprint Lab was awarded a share of the almost $10 million in Accelerating Commercialisation Grants which will help drive commercialisation activities as well as research and development. Using this funding, Blueprint Lab will accelerate its introduction of additional products that enable subsea operations in confined and complex environments.
Probe-Brush Tooling Development
A novel approach to pipe condition inspection was developed for a recent project using a probe-brush end effector. This end-effector was attached to a five-function manipulator for highly-articulated control. See the lab demo (on a dual function manipulator only) here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zkYmDb3U0uM
BLUEPRINT LAB is exhibiting at Oceanology International Americas 2019
Small, Light-Weight Robotic Arms for Unmanned Underwater Systems
BLUEPRINT LAB has been hard ar work developing the next generation of high-quality, state-of-the-art robotic solutions that help users push the boundaries of monitoring and intervention in remote and hostile environments.

Reach 7 Manipulator in Development
We’ve started development on the next big leap in subsea manipulator technology in the form of the Reach 7 – a seven-function robotic arm. The Reach 7 will have in-built kinematics that provides unmatched positional control and will be built to operate at 6000m. All electric and with a lift capacity of 12kg at full extension, the Reach 7 is a capability multiplier for larger inspection class ROVs.
