SPECIAL RECOVERY
Don't leave mission success to chance. Blueprint Lab manipulators provide the dexterity you need to deal with the unknowns of your complex recovery operations.
WHY REACH MANIPULATORS
FOR SPECIAL RECOVERY?
- Vehicle agnostic for quick integration onto existing vehicle fleets
- Bespoke tools for Special Recovery applications
- High Dexterity – reach places and conduct tasks previously infeasible with an ROV
- Master arm enabled – reduce training and mission time
- Advanced Operator Interface – Enhance perception of the task
- Very small logistics footprint – plug-and-play when the mission requires it

REVOLUTIONARY ROBOTIC ARMS FOR SPECIAL RECOVERY

Reduce training & mission time

APPLICATIONS
We’re helping Special Recovery operators, including Search and Rescue teams, do more with their underwater robotics and autonomous systems. Blueprint Lab manipulators multiply the capability of existing underwater platforms by enabling the following tasks.
- Close Visual Inspection
- Access confined to spaces beyond the capability of a free-flying ROV
- Hold and recover objects
- Attach/hook a carabiner/recovery cable connector (RCC)
- Pull and cut a rope, line, and netting

MANIPULATORS FOR ALL MISSIONS
Versatile and Effective
“In our search for the perfect subsystems (robotic arms and underwater vehicles), we came across the Alpha 5 arm that has all the characteristics we were looking for: it is small, lightweight and electrically actuated. The Alpha 5 is integrated with ROS and this is an enormous bonus for us, as we can easily integrate it with the other subsystems in the UVMS configuration. The Blueprint Lab team responded to all our questions, they delivered the system without any delays, and they continue to support and answer all our needs after the system has been delivered.”
