Blueprint Lab ROV manipulator arms offer a lightweight design and best-in-class performance and lift capacity for an electric underwater robotic arm. Available in a range of configurations up to 7-Functions, 6 Degrees of Freedom, they are well suited to a range of robotic applications. FAQ's ABOUT MANIPULATOR ARMS

A manipulator arm is a robot system comprised of rotational (‘revolute’) joints and linear/telescopic (‘prismatic’) joints which enable an end-effector (a hand, jaws, a camera, or other sensor) to be moved to a certain position and orientation. They are used across a variety of industries.
Blueprint Lab manipulators range from 1 to 8 Degrees of Freedom depending on the use-case.
Manipulator arms can be controlled by gamepad controllers, on-screen GUI controls, or master arm control devices. Additionally, control can be either by adjusting the velocity and position of each joint individually, or with more advanced kinematic methods that define the position and orientation of the end-effector.
Manipulator arms get used above and below water to cut cables or ropes, conduct advanced Non-destructive testing, carrying out dexterous activities like attaching hooks, turning control inputs, wielding tools, collecting samples, and much more.
